I heard a difference in the sound and music after pushing different buttons. I used it on my laptop and on my tv's. I used it on 3 different headsets. I feel certain that it is a good investment.

I would purchase it again. Very good headset had to buy an adapter separate from turtle beach to connect them to my sons Xbox one and Nintendo Switch.
