Compare Destini bike with:. TVS Jupiter is another great scooter in the cc segment and it is the only scooter which has given a tough fight to Activa. Hero Pleasure Plus is a youthful scooter mostly inclined towards the female audience.
While looks are subjective and opinions vary from person to person, all the three scooters are mass-market product and they do look good in the flesh. Honda Activa 6G retains its body shape from its previous generations but now it gets sharp body lines to make it look a tad sporty. It gets an all-LED headlamp, a large tail-lamp that resembles the Activa and subtle chrome inserts.
However, it still misses out on alloy wheels. TVS Jupiter is a classy looking scooter. It gets a beige finish on the inner panels of the scooter with leatherette seat and also a backrest for the pillion rider. Upfront, it gets an all-LED headlamp, tinted visor and it gets alloy wheels too. Hero MotoCorp has launched the new-gen Pleasure Plus in and it looks way better than the older model.
It misses out on a LED headlamp but gets an ivory finish wrapped around the headlamp, on the front apron and on the side profile. It also gets alloy wheels and looks very youthful, thanks to the funky colour options on offer. TVS Jupiter is the longest scooter in its class, has the longest wheelbase, is the heaviest and offers the best boot space of the lot.
At the moment, purely based on numbers, the Scooty Zest gets the biggest storage capacity with a litre boot and an open storage cavity behind the front apron. The Activa i comes with an litre boot which should be good enough to store a half-faced helmet. The Hero Pleasure Plus offers the most features, gets a fresh new design and delivers the best power output amongst its rivals. All this without burning a hole in your pocket.
As a matter of fact, the top-spec variant of the Pleasure Plus undercuts the Activa i by around Rs 1, and the Scooty Zest by Rs 2, An exciting proposition indeed! While the Activa i isn't on par with the other two scooters, what works in its favour is the reliability associated with the Honda brand.
So it all boils down to what tops your priority list. Source: zigwheels. Tired of the unceasing, ungainly internet entertainment updates? Walk dazzling lanes and by lanes with Outlook. Know what's behind the apparent and what doesn't show.
