This was shown when Izayoi begged Takemaru to take his men and leave the palace grounds, not wanting him to be killed by Inu no Taisho. His true form was that of a gigantic dog with a single jagged blue stripe on each cheek and twin streaks of fur running down his back. Despite this, he was unable to kill Ryukotsusei and only able to defeat the dragon by sealing its powers away, suffering fatal wounds in the process.

It is an extension of the Wind Scar. Because of this, Sesshomaru likened Tetsusaiga to the master and Tenseiga to the servant. The explanation for the relationship between Tetsusaiga and Tenseiga may be changed at a later date once it is further clarified in the manga. Tenseiga reverted to its original form of a purely healing sword in chapter when Sesshomaru appeared to willingly break Tenseiga against Tetsusaiga in order to bequeath its Meidou Zangetsuha power upon it.

The purpose of this was to force Sesshomaru to find a weapon that was purely his own instead of relying on powers handed down to him by his father. The two men began to duel but later both died in a fire. Shishinki was the originator of the Meidou Zangetsuha technique, which Inu no Taishou stole from him using Tetsusaiga's ability to absorb a defeated enemy's powers.

Shishinki was left for dead, having been dealt a blow that took off the entire left side of his head, but he survived and returned to challenge Sesshomaru later. They vow not to try an attack again. Hyoga's son, Menomaru, was revived and wished to inherit Hyoga's sealed power for himself. Inu no Taishou himself was needed to undo the seal, but since Tetsusaiga came from his fang, it was sufficient, and Hyoga tricked InuYasha into undoing the seal. This movie gives the most daring look into Inu no Taishou's side of the story, going so far as actually depicting him in human form, albeit with his face somewhat obscured But, from What we can see he bares a strong resemblance to Sesshomaru in human form and has the same jagged purple marks as Inu Yashas' demon form.

The story begins with Inu no Taishou speaking with his son, Sesshomaru. He is gravely injured after just finishing his fight with Ryukotsusei , but he has no time to tend to his injuries for his human lover is about to give birth to his second son.

When the Dog Lord arrives, he finds the castle in which Izayoi is staying heavily fortified. Inu no Taishou blasts his way through to Izayoi's chamber, only to find her dead. At times he is more similar to second son, Inuyasha, tending to make outbursts while having little composure in battle.

Although the only time he was actually shown in battle involved Izayoi, a woman he loved, and he may not normally be like that in the heat of battle.

He also loved Izayoi dearly as well as his two sons. Despite his compassion, he was capable of being ruthless when need be to both humans and demons. He has tan skin, and slanted golden eyes with slit pupils.

His long white hair is tied up into a very high ponytail with a dark blue ribbon. He has wide, jagged purple-blue stripes on the sides of his face, and a magenta stripe on each eyelid. It is unknown when they first met, but they ended up falling in love and married which resulted in a half-demon child, Inuyasha. He fought through the soldiers only to find her already dead. Using the Tenseiga, he brought her back to life, giving her the Robe of the Fire-Rat , and telling her to escape with their newborn son whom he names Inuyasha.
